Be mindful that furniture items have a minimum height requirement to stay floated, which often exceeds their maximum lift capability; you may need to “lift” an item several times for it to remain floated. Furthermore, once you leave the housing menu your furniture will come crashing to the floor if you have not met this threshold.
Utilize a spreadsheet or notebook to keep an eye on how many bids have been placed for each housing plot in each ward, so that you can wait until the very last minute before placing your bid.
