Workman’s Travel Center

Workman’s Travel Center is well known for its outstanding service and friendly staff who are always happy to assist customers. Their prices are also highly affordable.

This truck stop provides various services, from restaurant and deli services to E-84 fuels. They serve a selection of sandwiches and burgers and offer these fuel options and E-84, diesel, and DEF fuel options.

1. Great Food

Workman’s Travel Center serves fantastic food that is both tasty and reasonably priced, providing customers with plenty of variety to choose from. Their service is outstanding, with friendly workers who strive to ensure every experience is positive.

Workman’s Travel Centers operate throughout Arkansas to serve truck drivers nationwide and beyond. Their locations offer clean showers and 24-hour security; food options like barbecue, burgers, fried chicken, and pies; and E-84, diesel, and DEF fuel sales.

The company is looking to expand its operations, having purchased land in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and considering locations in Joplin, Missouri. As many nationwide travel centers close, this family-owned business can quickly adapt to meet its clientele’s needs by retrofitting pumps to accommodate DEF (an additive required when trucks fill up). Furthermore, wiring has already been laid at the Rudy and Lowell locations, so wiring can easily be added at other sites should the need arise.

2. Great Service

This travel center has much to admire: delicious food and drinks, clean restrooms, helpful and friendly service staff, and reasonable pricing for quality cuisines – such as delicious cheeseburgers or perfectly cooked brisket! This is your go-to location if you’re in the mood for either.

Workman’s remains committed to growing despite its difficulties in the gas station and convenience store industry. They plan to open their following location in Lowell, Arkansas, featuring a restaurant/deli serving Southern food and sandwiches and adding a smokehouse! Co-owner Kathryn Workman-Burger recently hired Steven Brooks as a full-time executive chef!

The Travel Center is a 24-hour travel center, restaurant, and deli offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner specials, including burgers, barbecues, fried chicken, pies, and more. In addition, gasoline (E-84, diesel, and DEF), snacks, drinks, and travel gear can all be purchased here and serviced with its on-site wash bay and truck repair facility.

3. Great Atmosphere

Customers at Workman’s Travel Center rave about both food and service at Workman’s travel center, with guests noting its exotic ambiance and excellent staff being perfect places to unwind after a long drive. Prices are very affordable considering what you receive here, and if you fancy some cheeseburgers and drinks, this could be just the spot!

Since entering the travel center business 11 years ago, their family has expanded across Oklahoma and Missouri with plans to purchase land in Shawnee and Joplin; further, all their restaurants will include smokehouses to enhance the taste of Southern cuisine.

The Travel Center features a restaurant and deli offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner specials and burgers. In addition, E-84, diesel, and DEF fuels can be purchased here, and gas, snacks, and drinks at their convenience store. In addition, there are showers and a large parking area; there is even a post office and trucker lounge to take advantage of!

4. Affordable

Workman’s Travel Center offers delicious meals at an affordable price, from cheeseburgers and barbecue ribs to fried chicken and more! Their full-service restaurant also features a convenient store and clean restrooms – the perfect combination!

The family-owned business has remained competitive despite other nationwide travel centers closing by emphasizing their local communities through initiatives like their Philanthropic Program that benefits youth sports teams and safety for truck drivers.

Lowell’s new location will feature ten pumps for passenger cars and five for big rigs, offering gas, E-84 diesel, DEF fuels, and Southern cuisine in their deli and smokehouse. Furthermore, according to Workman-Burger, wiring has been laid for electric vehicle charging stations, which will be installed later.
