Gendry Baratheon, often referred to as King Robert’s unacknowledging Bastard Son, stands in stark contrast to Joffrey, his presumed heir and supposed successor, who had an overbearing sense of entitlement and was arrogant and rude. Gendry stands in contrast with this personality by being both humble and polite – as well as skilled blacksmith who is responsible for creating Oathkeeper for Jon Snow and Heartsbane for Arya Stark now owned by her family ancestor Arya now owns it from him!

Octa Unella takes advantage of Tommen’s innocence to manipulate him into doing exactly as she wants, which includes convincing Loras not to surrender his family legacy and remain strong during imprisonment by Faith Militant. When Queen of Thorns visits Septa Unella she is upset with Septa for siding with Faith Militant and accepting their viewpoint that Loras must repent of his homosexual behavior before assuring her she has an elaborate plan in place that can save Septa’s family legacy. However, Septa remains hopeful because Septa Unella knows Septa has her back.
Brienne of Tarth is a powerful woman with no tolerance for fools or people who try to manipulate her into taking anything she doesn’t want from life. Determined to pursue success on her own terms, and she ultimately does. A skilled swordswoman herself, Brienne has no fear when it comes to killing enemies of Renly Baratheon; only person that treated him with respect in return. Although their love was ultimately unrequited.
Septa Roelle taught her to gain confidence despite being physically ugly. Later she met Catelyn Stark and pledged her allegiance. Later still she joined Renly Baratheon’s Kingsguard; when Renly Baratheon declared his claim to the Iron Throne she became part of it as well; during this time Ser Emmon Cuy and Ser Robar Royce attacked her; killing both in self-defense but they weren’t convinced of her actions.
No matter her outwardly masculine features or appearance, she remains a noble knight who lives up to her code of honor and believes in fighting for what is important to her and taking personal revenge as necessary.
Davos exemplifies what it means to be a gentleman knight: wise, reliable and caring about people. His devotion is unparalleled when assisting Stannis Baratheon in his efforts to claim the throne for House Stark; Davos earns Stannis’ trust through being loyal and honest in his interactions.
Davos comes from humble origins and was a skilled smuggler by trade. When Robert’s Rebellion hit, Davos successfully navigated through Shipbreaker Bay’s blockade to bring much-needed supplies into Storm’s End for those starving forces defending Castle Storm’s End defending it against starvation forces defending Storm’s End castle during Robert’s Rebellion. To show his appreciation, Stannis knighted him and granted him nobility status with choice lands at Cape Wrath; additionally he personally cut off Davos’ left hand as punishment for his criminal career of smuggling.
Davos is an unwavering believer of the Seven Religion. Although skeptical of Melisandre’s advice and practices the old ways instead, leading him into conflict with her followers and the Red Priestess herself. A fierce fighter, Davos always stands up for what’s right.
While Beric Dondarrion made a brief appearance in Season 1 (where Ned Stark sent him after Ser Gregor Clegane for robbing and pillaging Riverlands under Lannister banner), his true presence made a major statement in Season 3, when he returned as leader of Brotherhood Without Banners (a small group of warriors fighting not for monarchs but on behalf of common folk). Lord Blackhaven himself is well known as fearsome warrior known for their fiery swords and ability to rise from death – be it by either magical or mortal means!
