The Advanced Learning Center at Nebo High School is an early college and technical center designed to give students access to advanced classes while remaining enrolled at their home high school. Through this initiative, they can explore careers ranging from culinary arts to medical technology while taking advanced courses from their resident high schools. The ALC currently offers courses designed to give students a foundation in human anatomy and physiology, part of the science of health and wellness that emphasizes physical, mental, and emotional well-being and the body-mind-spirit relationship. All community members are welcome to take part in providing quality education at ALC; students can pursue their dreams for success without discrimination against race, creed, color, national origin, age, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability.

Tutors at the advanced learning center offer more than academic assistance; they also provide emotional support and guidance as they equip their pupils with the tools needed for success in their chosen careers. Furthermore, tutors oversee student assignments and assessments while training new employees – generally command lower salaries than learning center instructors on average.
